Care should be provided in collaboration with other actors within and outside Region Kronoberg, with a cohesive care chain and patient participation in focus. We want to create good conditions for our patients to receive the right care and treatment from the best possible competence.

The specialist psychiatry for children, adolescents, and adults provides modern and specialized psychiatric care in collaboration with relatives and other caregivers. A good work environment with motivated and competent employees is a prerequisite for us to succeed in our mission.

General psychiatry is organized into specialized units where staff work in integrated teams, outpatient care, and round-the-clock care, following the patient throughout the care chain. Within the general psychiatric outpatient clinic unit 2, patients with personality disorders, eating disorders, neuropsychiatric issues, and patients at risk of suicide are treated.

We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a therapist in the eating disorder clinic for children, adolescents, and adults. Do you want to be part of our team?

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position is aimed at working with our patients who have eating disorder issues, where your role is to work with assessment and treatment interventions. At the eating disorder clinic, we work with treatment individually, in groups, and in day care. At the clinic, we work in interdisciplinary teams where you, together with other professionals, meet children, adolescents, and adults in need of specialized psychiatric eating disorder care. In working with underage patients, we adopt a family-oriented approach where the whole family is involved in the treatment. The work also involves close collaboration with other actors, such as schools and social services.

You will work both independently and in collaboration with your colleagues within the team, as well as across the entire unit.

Within the specialist psychiatry for children, adolescents, and adults, you will be involved in the ongoing development work we conduct at the unit. We offer you an independent and developing job with good opportunities for professional development as well as high access to supervision and mentorship.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are educated and graduated social worker, caregiver, licensed nurse, licensed psychotherapist, or what the employer considers relevant education. We prefer that you have several years of experience in treatment work, and experience working with children and families is an advantage. Basic training in psychotherapy (step 1) is desirable. You will be employed in your primary profession.

You have good collaboration skills, are unpretentious, and enjoy working both independently and in teams. You feel secure in uncertain situations, stand up for your own opinions, and welcome change and development with a strong focus on patients. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

A driving license (B) is desirable. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented.
